The Microsoft CRM Mobile Client provides salespeople with up-to-date information about their accounts and contacts, and it helps them manage sales opportunities and track sales-related activities. It takes out the trash and folds the laundry too (just kidding).

Salespeople select the data to take with them on the road. While disconnected, they can enter data whenever they want. Later they can sync the data via the office network, or from the road via wireless access through GPRS.

SERVER REQUIREMENTS

  • Server OS – Windows 2000 Server; Windows Server 2003; Windows Small Business Server 2003
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0
  • RAM, RAM, and MORE RAM (as with any CRM installation)

MOBILE DEVICE REQUIREMENTS

  • Intranet-only scenarios – Windows Mobile® 2003- or 2005-based Pocket PC or PPC Phone Edition (ARM or Xscale processor)
  • Internet-enabled scenarios – Windows Mobile® 2005-based Pocket PC or PPC Phone Edition (ARM or Xscale processor)
  • 64 MB of RAM minimum, 128 MB or more recommended
  • Processor speed: Intel architecture, 526 MHz min. or TI architecture, 206 MHz min.
  • Display minimum size: 3.5" display, 240 x 320 pixels.
  • Recommended: Secure digital (SD) card slot and card, or CompactFlash card slot and card.
  • Optional: GPRS-enabled devices
